Collaboration

The Coronel Institute works with various departments within the AMC (Audiology, Rehabilitation, Cardiology, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Intensive Care, General Practice Medicine, Social Medicine, Medical Psychology, Psychiatry and Internal Medicine); as well as outside the AMC, the Institute collaborates with various university departments in the Netherlands that conduct research in the field of occupational health and with a number of sectors; internationally, the Institute participates in EU projects, as well as collaboration in the context of the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH) and the World Health Organization (WHO)/International Labour Organization (ILO).

Clients

Research projects are carried out using university funding and on behalf of various subsidy providers such as government ministries, sectors, trade unions, large businesses, industries and occupational health services. In addition, research assignments are secured via funds/organizations and foundations such as the Employee Insurance Agency (UWV), A&O Fonds, Stichting Instituut GAK, the Netherlands Organisation for Health Research and Development (ZonMw), the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), and the European Union.
