Nico-lab secures further funding

1 juli 2016

Only several weeks after being appointed a €50,000 European grant, the rapidly-growing AMC/Biomedical Engineering & Physics spin-off Nico-lab successfully presented to Amsterdam Innovation Exchange to receive a €100,000 pre-seed loan, and to technology foundation STW to receive a €40,000 grant. The pre-seed loan will be used to further develop Nico-lab’s proof of concept by widening the portfolio of automated computer vision tools, and the grant from STW will be used for business development. Nico-lab has developed a toolbox that assists radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment selection of stroke patients, and their work has the potential to impact the lives of many.
