Spinoza Centre for Neuroimaging

The Spinoza Centre for Neuroimaging is a joint initiative of AMC, Royal Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW), the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and the Vrije University (VU).

Diseases of the brain are set to become one of the great medical problems of the future – and it is a problem that has a huge social, psychological and economic impact. Amsterdam is a major centre of very high quality neurological research: it is carried out at the city’s two universities, two teaching hospitals and a number of other institutions. By building an advanced shared infrastructure, the Spinoza Centre aims to further strengthen the Amsterdam Neuroscience community with its high- and ultra-highfield MRI equipment in order to look into the living human brain. In addition, the Spinoza Centre welcomes business collaborations seeking imaging solutions to applied human neuroscience.

The Spinoza Centre has it's own website; click on the logo below.
