Ionic (especially caclium and sodium) metabolism and its role in excitation contraction coupling in the setting of heart failure.

Prevention of the develoment of heart failure by controlling the ionic metabolism.

Activation of the down regulated fatty acid metabolism in HF.

The role of cholestrol metabolism on arrhythmogenesis.
