- Interventional and multimodal therapy of „lower back pain“
Palliative medicine:
- Symptom management (constipation, nausea and emesis)
- Symptom m anagement and Quality of Life (QoL)
- Interventional methods of palliative pain control 
Experimental anaesthesiology:
- Electro-physiological examination of the effects of anaesthetics on sodium channels
- Opioid effects on humanen 5-HT3-receptores
- Measurement of depth of anaesthesia, auditory evoked potentials (AEPs) und magneticly evoked potentials (MEPs)
