Research programmes

PhD T. Vrijkotte (Early life programming of obesity and cardiometabolic functions by nutritional, metabolic and hormonal environment.)

To do research in the field of early programming. More specific, research that focuses on maternal lifestyle factors (including stress and obesity) during pregnancy, pregnancy outcome, and the development of obesity and cardio-metabolic risk profile in the offspring. Study origins in health outcomes in minority groups.

To continue internatial research collaborations in the field of early programming of health and diseases.
