Focus of research

Within the IOP project, AMC and Topcon seek the potential of the OCT data for further functional analysis of the posterior segment of the eye. Emphasis is given to the local measurements of blood parameters such as hematocrit, oxygen level, flow and perfusion. Furthermore, the value of of other information as opto-physiology, frequency analysis of movement correction, dedicated structural information for glaucoma and diabetes monitoring will be explored. Therefore, algorithms are tested and evaluated.
