2. Renal Insufficiency Therapy in Children: Quality assessment and improvement – “RICH-Q” : collaborative study to the quality of care by all Dutch and Belgians centres for paediatric dialysis and renal transplantation (www.rich-q.nl) – 2 investigators

3. In collaboration with JC Davin & European centers: international Levamisole trial in nephrotic syndrome

4. Follow-up study Late effects of Renal Insufficiency in Children (LERIC 2, cooperative study with KiK (dr. K.J. Jager): start October 2009 – 1 investigator

A. RICH -Q 2 2007-2016: Renal Insufficiency in Children: Quality Assessment. Internationale cohort studie, georganiseerd vanuit het AMC. Deelnemende centra: kindernefrologie afdelingen Radbout ZH Nijmegen, Wilhelmina kinderziekenhuis Utrecht, Sophia kinderziekenhuis Rotterdam, Universiteits Ziekenhuis Antwerpen, Universiteits ziekenhuis Gent, KU Leuven, HUDERF Brussel, Sart Tilman Liege, Uni-Klinik Koeln.

Afgerond:

- monitoring hartafwijkingen & botafwijkingen bij kinderen met ESRD

- quality of life ESRD kinderen

- qualit of care ESRD kinderen

- invloed niet-westerse uitkomsten behandeling ESRD bij kinderen

- RICH q 1 (2007-2011  RICH Q 2 2012-2016 zijn finacieel gehost door het Hans Mak Instituut/nefrovisie en gesubisidieerd door de nierstichting. Eerste subsidie vanuit de nierstichting was Eu 747.840. Subsidie RICH Q 2 door de nierstichting : Eu 867.840

- 2017-2018: pilotstudie "Cognitief en adaptief functioneren in relatie tot kwaliteit van leven, bij jonge patiënten met ernstig nierfalen" in samenwerking me de afdeling medische kinderpsychologie ( dr KJ Oostrom, dr L Havermans)  en nefrologie (Prof FJ Bemelmans, dr M van Sanwijk) en klinische neurofysiologie ( dr AF van Rootselaar). B. Late Effects of Renal Insufficiency in Children deel 2: Follow-up studie naar late gevolgen van nierinsufficientie bij kinderen onder alle patienten, die tussen 1972 en1992< 15 jaar in Nederland terminale nierinsuffcientie hebben ontwikkeld: studie naat late mortaliteit, doodsoorzaken, prevalentie van infecties, kanker en naar de sociale sitiatie en kwaliteit van leven van de overlevers. Afgerond, proefschrift 2015 studie deels gefinacieerd door de nierstichting..

C. ESPN registry: epidemiologische studies bij kinderen in Europa in samenwerking met meerdere centra en Klinische Informatie Kunde ( prof KJ Jager en dr M Bonthuis).

Lopende projecten 2017:

- Vascular acces bij kinderen met hemodialyse, M Boehm (Oostenrijk, stage AMC)

- determinanten van uitkomsten bij niertransplantaite in Europa: L Cuperis (LUMC, wetenschappelijke stage AMC 9 maanden)

- groei na nier transplantatie bij kinderen ( M Bonthuis, J Harambat)

- herstel nierfunctie na langdurige nierfunctievervangende therapie ( M Bonthuis)

- invloed van BMI op uitkomst nier transplanatie bij kinderen (M Bonthuis)

Nefrotisch syndroom
