Focus of research

Population pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modeling of antimicrobial drugs: exposure optimisation studies, dose individualisation studies, concentration-effect relationship studies as well as studies into the relationship between drug concentration and the risk for acquiring drug resistance).
Collaboration with the Molecular Biology and Microbial Food Safety research group of the Swammerdam Institute for Life Sciences of the University of Amsterdam (Dr. Benno ter Kuile, PhD)
Collaboaration with the departement of Intensive Care Medicine (Prof. dr. J. Wauters) and the departement of Hospital Pharmacy (Prof. dr. I. Spriet) of the University Hospitals Leuven, Belgium

Population pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modeling of antihypertensive drugs: dose individualisation studies, concentration-effect relationship studies

Clinical pharmacological research of prothrombin complex concentrate (dose optimisation studies).
Collaboration with the department of Haematology of the University Medical Center Groningen (Prof. dr. K. Meijer) and the Central Hospital Pharmacy, The Hague (Dr. N. Khorsand)
