Board member, co founder and member scientific committee of the Dutch Pancreatic Cancer Group (DPCG), a multidisciplinary research group on pancreatic cancer since 2012

- PI of the National PREOPANC phase 3 trial comparing upfront surgery with neo adjuvant radiochemotherapy (finished accrual july 2017; Final analysis in press) 

       Co PI of KWF project to investigate motion of pancreatic tumours treated with radiation ( UVA 2011-5017; co promotor E. Lens June 2, 2017)

- PI of the PAINPANC single arm phase 2 study, on pain palliation by short term radiation (3 X 8 Gy); (finished accrual, analysis in progress)

- co PI of the FIBROPANC trial, Single arm feasibility trial to investigate whether a single fraction of radiation can prevent postoperative fistula in patiënts undergoing a pancreaticoduodenectomy. (in preparation, National).  

- co PI of KWF grant application:  Reduction of organ motion during radiotherapy by non-invasive mechanical ventilation supported breathing control.
