Research programmes

Prof. MD PhD F.J. Bemelman (Improving renal transplantation)

The research lines focus on renal transplantation and immuno-nephrology. In renal transplantation several clinical trials are conducted, to improve the outcome, furthermore the pathophysiology of viral and bacterial infection in transplant recipients are investigated. in addition clinical trials in immune mediated diseases of the kidney are done

Furhermore, we investigate the features and  characteristics of our non-western patient population with kidney disease
