The analysis of Tryptophan metabolites of the pyrrolase route. The following metabolites are measured: Tryptophan, Kynurenine, OH-Kynurenine, Kynurenine acid, Anthranilic acid, OH-Anthranilic acid, Xanthurenic acid and Quinolinic acid.

Materials:
Plasma
- Amount: 250 µl.
- Conditions: Dry ice.
- Specifics: EDTA plasma (preferred material), heparin plasma also suitable.
Erythrocytes
- Amount: 2 ml of whole blood.
- Conditions: Room temperature.
- Specifics: Sample must arrive at our lab within 48 hours.
