Vincent Blijleven, former PhD student of Prof. Monique W. Jaspers, has been awarded three prizes:
1. Best paper in the field of Human Factors in Healthcare awarded by the International Medical Informatics Association
2. Best PhD research in the field of Medical Informatics, awarded by the Healthcare and ICT foundation.
3. Best PhD research in the field of Human Factors, awarded by the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society.
To assist healthcare organizations in effectively identifying, analyzing and resolving workarounds, AmsterdamUMC (AMC) and Nyenrode Business University bundled forces and created a framework called SEWA (Sociotechnical Ehr Workaround Analysis. This framework was the result of Vincent’s PhD on EHR workarounds within the AmsterdamUMC.
